Mali is an up-and-coming service that aims to break open the barriers of conventional money services. This includes sending, saving, depositing and payments. And best of all – Mali is free. 

Mali aims to provide its services free of charge. For account balances above a threshold, premium subscriptions are required. Mali Premium has a flat fee of R10 per month. Mali is incentivised through merchant fees, which do not affect the customer.

Mali is lean, with little overhead. By cutting out complex fee structures and using blockchain technology, Mali provides a streamlined money service engine, that is straightforward and intuitive, avoiding unnecessary clutter and jargon. 

Besides being free, Mali has these goals:

• To be borderless
• To have the most intuitive UI experience
• To incorporate Web 3.0 technology to enhance upon similar dated technology
• To have an indiscriminate sign-up process, that puts premium money services back in the hands of the people and empowers those that have been excluded from such services

We believe it is the amalgamation of these goals into a unified product that will make Mali the go-to money service in Africa.
